Dear anyone who has any information,

Working with Adobe Premiere Pro 2, my editor and I are running into problems exporting our movie to an avi. The computer we are using to edit is by all accounts a total piece of shit and is giving us grief to no end.

To save guard our footage and progress we thought it smart to move everything over to an external HD. There we ran into two issues. The computer will not let us put more the 5 gigs on the 500 gig drive, claiming it is full.

In addition when we try to export the movie to an AVI, we get a error that the disk is full.

Does anyone have any information to solve these issues?

Not 100% sure but I know there are sometimes issues with files over 2 gigs. If your using all NTFS then it’s less of an issue. Try just coping the files and not doing anything via Premiere.

Fat32 File system supports Open DML video files up to 4 gigs. Format the drive as NTFS.
