Is there a difference in final file size of a swf when an AE project for instance uses a mask instead of a solid to cover something?

Just wondering if the AE techniques used affect final file size of exported formats.

I am using AE for a web banner because it is just easier to get what I want quicker than in Flash and so far, file sizes of the swf have been close enough but I just thought of the above.

    Thanks

Look in the help files it spells it out in detail. Basically no effects because they’re raster. Masks are no problem, but there are some restrictions. And lastly, I dunno why, but it you take you AE produced SWF and run it thru flash (import then publish another swf) that flash swf will be smaller, sometimes a lot smaller, better optimization I guess.
