exporting still images from fcp or quicktime
I have a mastered in the 10bit 4:4:4 Kona Log codec. When I export still images I can’t figure out how to export still images with a bit depth greater than 8bit. I’ve tried a bunch of different ways but they come up as 8bit when I open them in Photoshop. I even tried exporting it as a QT image in the Kona codec, but then I couldn’t open that in Photoshop. Anyone have this problem? Any got a solution? I want to correct these images for publicity materials and want to use as much bit depth as possible.
