Hi all. To all the closed captioning gurus out there, anyone know of a way to export a scc sidecar captioning file without having to export its companion content file as well? Currently I am exporting as a QT with audio only in order to get the scc standalone and simply trashing the QT companion file while keeping the scc. However, this step adds considerable time to the work flow and seems a little unnecessary since all I am needing in the end is the single scc file. Goal is to most efficiently get Premiere edited scc files into MacCaption for conversion and re-imported back into Premiere. Using CS8 on a MAC. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    This!

(As in, just run into this problem and wish the CC feature set in Premiere was more… mature by now.)
