exporting sequence as a quicktime movie
I exported a sequence as a quicktime movie and there is a frame of black in between each one of the cuts when I view the exported mov file. why?

Make sure that you don’t have a frame of black between each of your cuts…zoom in on the cuts and make sure that the clips are properly merged together at the seams.
