Exporting .scc in Premiere CC but no luck in Encore
Hello,
I’m in dire straights. I would love some help and fast.
My editor created closed captioning in Premiere Pro CC. I exported a .mov file with the captions embedded, but when I import it as a new timeline in Encore, I don’t see the video, nor the captions. I then exported the Premiere file as a .mp4 and then exported the captions as a sidecar. I can import the .mp4 file into Encore (and I see the view in the Monitor), but it won’t allow me to import the .scc file.
The whole point of the video was to translate someone speaking in Portuguese into English. This family desperately wants this video by Friday, and I can’t seem to figure it out. I would love help as soon as possible.

Hey Jamie,
first of all – you can´t import CC that´s embedded in a MOV-file. if you´ve got a SCC-file you need to import it to the video-stream. be awared that closed caption only work with NTSC-video.here you´ll find the details how to implement:
