I’ve looked around on other forums to no avail, but I’m trying to kick out a project as an HD ProRes quicktime. I know about how ProRes is an apple codec and all that, but I’m confused, still, as to why premiere can’t do this. After Effects can. It seems silly that one would be able to and not the other.

I don’t want to compress to H264, as I’m bringing the export back in. Is there another codec I could export to that is similar in quality and size to ProRes 422?

I’m hoping this problem of mine is due to ignorance and not because of some major oversight/willful handicap on Adobes part. This program is seriously making it hard for me to love. Any light shed would be much appreciated.

Nevermind. A helpful friend from the good people at Arts & Labor in Austin, TX brought to my attention the scroll bar on the side of the video tab in the export menu. Ignorance it is on this one.
