Exporting questions
I’m currently out of time atm to go look up a tutorial, but I do plan on doing so soon. However, I am just curious as to how Encore writes a video file to the DVD, concerning compression and size issues. For example, I have a 6.24GB .mov file in 1024×720 and will attempt to put this on a two sided DVD-R using Encore. The double sided discs say they only hold 2.8GB of footage, or 60 minutes. My file is 33 minutes long, so will Encore compress the footage to fit on the DVD? Will it incorrectly burn it due to the fact that it was TWO sides? Will I loose quality in the process of DVD compression?
I’ve messed around with DVD’s for the past few years on a check-n-guess basis, and it can be quite costly. Just trying to minimize my DVD experimenting losses here, hope someone can help.
Thanks,
Huntaaa
