I’m exporting a 00:60 23.98 fps sequence using quicktime conversion. It is giving me the best picture quality vs compressor or MPG streamclip on this project.

I am setting the export for an H264 at 23.98 fps with a data rate limit of 1800 kbps. The file should be about 16 mpgs. Yet every export makes the framerate 4.02 fps with a date rate limit of 5600k so the file is almost 40mgs.

anyone know why this would happen?

This doesn’t make sense. If you export to QuickTime Movie you should get a file that matches exactly the sequence settings that you’re exporting. You then take that to Compressor.

    All the best,

Don’t do that. Do it right using Compressor.
