December 26, 2009 at 7:09 pmExport to Flash f4v, 29.97, same field order as the original, or progressive if needed. Export at the original resolution up to 720P for HD.
Set the bit rate between 3 and 6 Mb/s depending on how long the video is and your connection speed. I think YouTube still allows up to 2 GB in file size.

December 26, 2009 at 9:47 pmOh, also, the audio bit rate automatically starts at 128. Is that good?

December 27, 2009 at 12:46 amYouTube has a list of recommended formats. But it really doesn’t make too much difference. You should come out of Premiere with the best resolution you can, say as a H264 .mov file, then upload it to YouTube. Let the YouTube website do the conversion to Flash. It’s that simple.

December 27, 2009 at 9:15 amIve tried at least 10 different formats for exporting my project to be uploaded on youtube and nothing has worked fully. The closest i came to a full on video was when the format was at: “H.264 youtube widescreen HD” unfortunently the video was slower than the audio and the audio had glitch-like breaks in it…
How do I find my what my starting media was? This is really one of my 1st videos, but i’ve put at least 10 hours into it and still havn’t figured out how to export a project worthy of going on youtube. How do all those people do it? I’m really not that bad with computers. I’m an audio engineer, but when it comes to videos im just LOST!
Where can I find the info that you need, in order to help me? Do you need my video camera specs?
