  Exporting Problem

  Hi all,

  I had a problem exporting a clip from Final Cut Pro last night. After successfully exporting the file once, I tried again after a minor change to the sound track – and I was left with a Quicktime file that was a blank green screen, with no footage or audio.

  The problem seemed to rectify itself after I shut down FCP and opened it again, which was good as the deadline was this morning, and I had no idea what went wrong.

  However I just wondered if anyone had an idea what caused it so I can avoid it happening again.

  I’m using FCP 7, exporting using Quicktime Conversion, and custom pixel dimensions of 720 x 405, 16:9

  I’m using a not so new MacBook Pro, about 5 years old I think – (not on it now, so not sure of the exact specs).
