Exporting Problem
Hi guys,
I’ve made a music vid for a client.
When I watch my vid on the timeline it’s in sync but when I export it and watch it back some of it’s out of sync
Any thoughts?

What file format are you exporting to.
Sometimes Quicktime Reference files have issues where just a few random clips are out of synch. This mostly happens to me when using the reference file in software like Squeeze.

I’m exporting to a quicktime file.I had some suggestions from someone and one of them worked but then I took the file home and played it and it’s out of sync again!!!!

when I try to export anything in Avid Xpress, I also do it as quicktime reference and then use sorenson squeeze to transform into mpg file, never had any sync problem…
maybe you could take the file you created & is out of sync and try to re-sync it on virtual dub (the bad thing is you’ll have to do an xvid file and will loose quality, but give it a shot anyway…)Felipe Millan
