  Exporting PAL Footage, Flickering on Windows XP

  I have a sequence I need to export that contains some SD PAL footage (25 fps, 720 x 576, DV-PAL, Field Dominance: Lower) and some HD footage (25 fps, 1920×1080, XDCAM EX 1080i50, Field Dominance: Upper) My sequence settings match my PAL footage, except that I changed the field dominance to none and added a deinterlace filter (upper) to the HD footage.

  I exported it with H.264 compression, 720 x 576.

  Everything plays fine in Vimeo and Youtube except on computers running Windows XP (??). I get a weird, jagged flickering during parts that are bright/moving (different from a “staircasing” issue)

  Any thoughts on what this could be? Am I doing something wrong with my settings?
