Exporting out of Premiere
Hello,
I shot some footage using a Canon 60D and a GoPro. Edited it all in the native h.264 format in Premiere CS6. When I go to output, I don’t have the option to change the frame size. It is stuck on 720. I’m guessing I need to download a codec for more options? Can someone please let me know how to export my video at maximum quality now?Thanks, David.

What I generally do is to render off the Premiere project at it’s native resolution – 1280 x 720 in your case – then jump to Adobe Media Encoder and output my delivery codecs/frame sizes. There are more choices in AME, plus you end up with a “future proof” master in the native format.

Rendering out of PrPro is using the AME engin and will give you the same options. The benefits to using AME through render queue is that you can still work in PrPro during the render as well as using AME as a batch processor for different output files and locations.
Other than the differences in workflow rendering out of PrPro and using AME are exactly the same.
