  • Exporting MXF with DVCPRO 50 codec

I have a station that is just now accepting files and the only way they will accept SD files are in the MXF wrapper with the DVCPRO 50 codec. It looks like if you select P2 Movie, it will let you choose a that codec, but then the files all come out in a folder called “CONTENT,” and I need one single file to upload. Is there any way to generate this type of file out of PPro CS6?

dig through the folders and find the .mxf file i think.

hopefully the audio is not in a separate file.

The audio and video are in separate files and the video files are separated. I think they cut each file at 4gb. There must be some other way to do this.

If thats the format they want, they “should” be able to accept
    it the way it’s made.

See if you can zip/archive the export folder and send it to them
    that way.

If they have MXF playback servers, that should work.
