  Exporting Multi Format Video out of Final Cut 7

  I am trying to export a video with multiple source videos in the timeline. All source videos have been converted to Pro Res 422. All original source videos are 1080p or 4k. I’m exporting to 1080. I can live with most of the artifacting and picture degradation but the pixelation in the blacks is horrible and to distracting to ignore.

  I’ve exported using Quicktime Conversion, Compressor, played with data rates, frame rates and followed countless tutorials on exporting and still can’t solve the problem. Am I doomed to live with it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
