Exporting mpeg2 in .mxf wrapper
Hi there,
I’m having a situation that don’t seem to be able to solve.
Need toExport mpg2 1440×1080 in an .mxf wrapper, interlaced.
My master is a prores 1920×1080 and have not been able to find the correct setting.
Either I cant change the dimension, or the codec is different, but cant seem to find the complete combination.
Can anybody throw me a life saver?

Hey nicolas,
Note:that the ProRes 1920×1080 master will be automatically scaled down to 1440×1080 to match the export resolution.
Follow these
- In the Deliver page, select the “Custom” preset.
- Set the “Format” to “MXF OP1a”.
- Set the “Video Codec” to “MPEG2”.
- Set the “Resolution” to “1440×1080”.
- Set the “Field Order” to “Upper Field First” or “Lower Field First”, depending on your source footage.
- Adjust other settings as needed (e.g. bit rate, frame rate, etc.).
- Export the video using the desired file name and location.
