    Hello All …

Something strange happens when I export HD video but change the Profile option in Encoder(using CS5).

    Here’s what I’m doing:

I’m exporting separate sequences of HD video (1080i, 1080p and 720p) from Premiere > I choose MPEG2 as the format > I choose HDTV 1080i 29.97 as the Preset > then change Profile from “Main” to “4:2:2”.

    Here’s what I get:

An MPEG file with no video — and — a Quicktime file that looks wierd: there’s the usual Quicktime “Q” but not the word “movie.”

FYI: I’m changing the profile option because my client spec sheet says “Chroma 4:2:2” If I don’t make this change, the file exports perfectly…but does it meet the client’s specs???

Thanks in advance for your help!
