  • Exporting mograph baked coordinates into After Effects

Hi… I’ve got a plane that I put into a Mograph object and make it fall using gravity. Once I’m happy with the way the plane falls, I bake the fall and everything is good.

Now when I export the rendered sequence, I don’t have a null or a solid in After Effects as reference for me to insert the graphics I wanted to add in AE. Even if I use the External Compositing Tag I usually use.

Is there a way to import those coordinates in After Effects or should I track the plane by hand?

You have to check the “cache” box in the external compositing tag. That will ensure that will give you separate tracks for each clone in AE.

Gnaaaah, of course! it’s so obvious. Thanks so much! Really useful.

Sorry going back to you, but the “Cache” box was already checked and I still don’t have a solid/null in After Effects… Anyway, I’ll start from here and make a few experiment to figure it out. Thanks!

Sorry, I spoke too quickly. IT IS working. Thanks again.
