    Hello everyone

i would like to know a few things about encoding. A lot of the work that I create needs to converted into a flv codec. Then that flv gets place in a website by the programer. What I would like to know is the truth on how exporting an flv works. I have done a few test runs and have noticed that if you have a 9sec video that is at 335×254 and you want the quality to be good it needs to have a high bitrate of around 2000-5000kbps plus i have VBR 2pass selected, im also using media encoder 5. Now that makes the file size at around 4-6mb. The issue that im having is that people are telling me that there is a way to keep the file size smaller than a 1mb and still have the same quality as the 4-6mb file. Is this something that is true, and if it is how do achieve this by using media encoder 5.

    Muchos Thank You’s
