I have 3 lights animating on a spline and I’d like to export that movement to After Effects. In the render settings I have “export 3D data” and the other options checked. When I open the .aec file it generates the images and camera are there but no lights. Could it be that I’m missing a tag or have some light setting wrong?

The project should export lights as long as you have it setup to export lights in the settings so I’m not sure about what’s happening there.

But if you want just the data of the movement of the object you have to apply a external composting tag on it. Then it will export as a null or solid if you check the box.

    hope that helps
