Exporting Issues?
Hi, I seem to be having trouble exporting my video. I started using Vegas about a week ago and I just finished my first video project. I go to Render As… then select just normal avi settings, but it exports in around 3 seconds and just makes a small blank video. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

Can’t say for sure without more info, but my guess would be that you 1) have a loop region set (two yellow triangles at the top of the timeline) and 2) have “Render loop region only” checked in the Render As window.
Getting rid of the loop region or unchecking that box should do the trick. (You can close the loop region by dragging one of the yellow triangles over until it snaps to the other one, or by hitting “I” and “O” at the place. (“I” is for “In” point, “O” is for “Out” point.)

You are exactly right. I figured out the problem on my own last night, this was what I was doing wrong. Thanks a lot for your help anyway though.
