Project shot at 1080p. I bring the project to premiere and sequence settings is 1440×1080, framing for 4:3 aspect ratio. I export with the same resolution settings and the final video is zoomed in. Any suggestions?

You may need to clarify a bit more. You shot at 1440×1080 with like a Panasonic or something that does non-square pixels at a lower bit rate? Or you edited at 1440×1080 square pixels for a 4×3 aspect?
Then what are your export settings? And are you wanting to keep that 4×3 aspect?
So, some more details about your footage, sequence, export and final destination might help – where is this video destined to run?

The raw file is 1920×1080. My sequence settings is 1440 for the 4:3 frame.

No, I shot at 1920×1080. In premiere my sequence setting is 1440×1080. When I go to export, I export at 1440×1080. Upon viewing, it’s zoomed in and I would like to keep the 4:3 framing I was watching as I was editing.

I’m sending the product to facebook

SO, shot 1920×1080, wide screen. But edited 1440×1080 square, with those settings, and when you export 1440×1080, it’s zoomed in? What are you export settings exactly?
