    Hi every body, I have 1hr. & 38 min. HDTV footage which I edited & exported, but when export is done my movie is 82 minute long, meaning its just export 82 min. of my footage & stops. I tried more than 10 times& I get same result, I tried every thing, I can not find any thing wrong,need help, any idea gueys?

    Sound as if the hard drive you’re exporting to is formatted as FAT32 instead of Mac Extended. FAT32 has a 4Gb file size limit.

    Check the format of the drive with Disk Utility.

    Did you mark IN and OUT properly? Do you have an OUT point somewhere in the middle of the cut?

    What codec is the project. Not HDTV, but HDV, ProRes, DVCPRO HD…? And where are you exporting to?

    I checked my all raid hard drives they are all set to extended journal.

    Yes my in & out point are set properly, no out point in middle, the codec is 1920 × 1080 Linear PCM, Y’CbCr 10-bit 4:2:2Component

    When you export a FC QT (reference or self-contained-NOT Quicktime conversion)to your desktop what is the length when you open it in QT? If the length matches your sequence it is most likely happening in compression.

    I tried to export FC QT self contained 1080p too same thing, I just had 77min. not whole movie.
