    Hello!

I’ having problems exporting in an uncompressed format. I’m required to have it completely uncompressed and when I do that, the color on the image is slightly different.

I’ve rendered the video in ProRes 1080p 30 fps via file > export > quicktime movie. That looks fine, but obviously not uncompressed

I then went to file > export > quicktime movie > settings > custom. I then put frame size as 1920 x 1080, pixel aspect ratio square, field dominance as none, and compressor as none with quality at 100%. Yet somehow when it exports, it looks different.

Am I doing anything wrong? Thanks in advance!!

[Stephen Lubin] “I then put frame size as 1920 x 1080, pixel aspect ratio square, field dominance as none, and compressor as none with quality at 100%. Yet somehow when it exports, it looks different. “

“None” is a so-called legacy codec, with no benefits whatsoever, but with numerous issues, such as the color space issue you’ve encountered. Use 8 or 10-bit uncompressed instead and you should not encounter the same problem.

You could also use Compressor for this. QT Conversion can be weird.
