Activity Forums Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy Exporting in MPEG2

    we’re having troubles exporting a video from final cut pro in MPEG 2 format for a web download. it doesn’t display as any of the options in File, Export. the file needs to be around 10mb

    If you want to export out to MPEG2 directly then you have to choose the Export Using Compressor option.

    If you’re exporting for display on a website then MPEG2 is really not the codec of choice though.

    H.264 is great for the web. The quality is really good and the file sizes are pretty small considering the quality.
