  Exporting in After Effects

  I am curious if anyone knows why After Effects defaults the Quicktime Codec to “Animation” when exporting. Is there a way to change this so the default is something else? Also, when I change the codec from animation to say H.264 or PreRes I lose the option to export RGB + ALPHA. Any thoughts?
