Exporting hour and a half project for a DVD
Posted by Mark Anderson on July 12, 2013 at 1:54 amI have a 90 minute documentary that needs to be exported and converted into a DVD. What is the best suggested settings for the export? I am using FCP7 and the footage was shot on 1920 x 1080. Many thanks!

July 12, 2013 at 1:58 pmThanks guys. Ken Stone’s instructions look to be very thorough. I will look into using Compressor, but have not used it much in the past. I typically export shorter (3 – 5 minute projects) as a MPEG4, H264, and pump the bit rate to 5,000 and have great results with that method. Would that method still work well on a 90 minute piece, then drop the file into iDVD?
