    Apologies for asking what probably is a really easy thing to do but I cannot find any good tutorials on how to export high res images. I

    Hi:

    All you need to do is go to : Render–>Render Settings.
    In the General tab set the antialiasing property to best.
    Go to Output and set the dimensions of the image you would like to export (in pixels).
    In the save tab set the path and format (for higher resolutions use .tiff or whatever format you prefer).
    And that’s all, just close the render settings and go again to the Render–> Render to picture viewer (Shift+R).
    When it’s done the image should be in the path you specified.
