Exporting HDV ready graphics from after effects to AVID – alphas not working
We recently upgraded to HDV and now we are having problems exporting after effects graphics that contain an alpha. I am using the DNxHD codecs to export and I have double/triple checked that the RGB+alpha option is selected, anyone else have this problem?

Sorry I can’t help on the codecs, but have you considered converting the HDV material to something else as soon as the footage is ingested? Because HDV is best as an acquisition format, it would be a good idea to edit and composite in another, more tried-and-true codec?
Just a thought. 🙂
