Using a Canon T2i and recorded video in 108024p.

This if my first time working with HD video. First I recompressed it in AppleRes 108024p

Now I was to export it for vimeo (need it under 500mb)

    What is my next step?

When I export it doesn’t give me a ‘quicktime movie’ or ‘mpeg’ option. So I can’t go to ‘options’ an adjust things. Do I export in appleres and then use quicktime to get the file smaller (minute and half comes out to little over 2gbs)

Nevermind, I’m an idiot. Didn’t click the ‘quicktime conversion’ under export.

I dont know how to delete this but someone can if they want.

You are better off using Compressor.

Export QT Movie and drop file into Compressor. Choose a preset and modify if needed.

There is a hack for using T2i files using Log and Transfer.

    Right.
    Forget about “QT Conversion”.
    Thats OK for draft exports.
