  • Exporting frozen timeline into new project

I got no response regarding my earlier HELP post,
so I did the only thing I could do which was export
the timeline last chapter of my documentary as a QT.

I imported the QT into a new project and I can edit parameter
data fine, I’m just cutting in and out of the QT.

    My Q is:
I exported the chapter using the DV/NTSC 23.98 option.
I know this is recompressing the chapter.

If I re-export the chapter, what setting should I use
    for NO COMPRESSION?

I can then re cut in the NEW lossless QT for my final export.

    Anyone?

    Thnx,
    Sherwood

If you export Quicktime movie (not Quicktime conversion) using your current sequence settings, you will not recompress the footage. When you reimport that, you will have no loss from where you were before. The only difference from your original sequence is that any rendering you have done in the original will be built into the export and any changes you make in the reimported clip that require rendering will add another generation of render to the clip.
