Exporting from Resolve to Premiere Pro When Clips were missing?
So I have had a problem of some of my clips not being found by da vinci resolve. I think it is because they are AVI and MP3 extensions (could be wrong but this doesnt matter anyway).
The thing is none of these missing clips are necessary for my colour grading (most are just titles or sound tracks).
So i was wondering, if I export the XML from resolve back in to Premiere Pro what will the premiere pro sequence look like? Will it have the original AVI and MP3 files missing meaning that I manually have to put all the clips back in or will it have them in?
I hope that this makes sense but some help would be really appreciated.

That’s a good question. I would think it will point to the original files still…but I know one way of finding out…give it a try. What do you have to lose?

Good question 🙂 my computer is currently in repair and was doing this just before it was broken. Looks like I will have to wait to find out if no one has an answer!!
