Exporting from FCPX
Posted by Julian Bowman on December 31, 2012 at 7:27 pmSo, I am right in thinking that if I want to export a file using the Master File option, I cannot amend the dimension size of the file? I am stuck with whatever the project file is?
Cheers

December 31, 2012 at 8:17 pmOk, so I figured out how to add compressor 5 to the share/export options.
I created some custom settings for my needs. Clicked Compressor in Share, chose my custom setting, sent it to start exporting and clicked the circle with the % and a pop up came showing what was happening in the background.
Thing is, it has about 30 bloody choices listed under my custom setting and wants to encode all of them. So when it finishes one it goes to the next. Anyone aware of this? Is this something I have done wrong or just another bug?
Cheers

December 31, 2012 at 8:39 pmIs this in Compressor 4 or in FCP? It sounds as if you put the whole custom folder on the file to encode.
All the best,
Tom

December 31, 2012 at 10:19 pmYes, FCPX. But after reading your post I see what happened. It gave the option to add compressor to the Share/Export area but didn’t really explain I had to add the settings one by one so it created a Bundle I guess.
Anyway, what with your post here and in my other thread looks like I’m good 🙂
Many thanks
