Cleaner 6.5 is your ticket. Go to versiontracker.com and get the 6.5.1 update…huge improvement. To view FLV’s I use FLV Viewer (video_viewer_osx) and to view SWF’s I use SWF movie player from mac.eltima.com Both are free.

Why do you prefer Cleaner to On2?

    All the best,

    Thanks for the recomendations.

Has anyone experienced a problem of the first 3 seconds of audio being missing?

That’s what happened to me. I’ve reencoded it out of cleaner twice. the QT file from FCP is fine too. but the SWF files are missing the sound and it seems that its is slightly out of sync too.

by the way. what is the difference between the SWF and the FLV version?

    Thanks,

    Chris

FLV is for your video clips with audio. SWF is for stills
