Exporting from FCP to Compressor
I am using the newest version of Final Cut Studio, and am trying to export an SD video to Compressor. When I go to File > Export, there is no “Export Using Compressor” option. Is there a way to add that feature, or am I going to need to export as a QuickTime file?

I just tried that. Is it supposed to take 8 hours to compress though?
Just to clarify, its File > Share > Send to Compressor

Depends on what settings in Compressor you chose to compress, and what format you are compressing from. HDV to H.264…yeah, that will take a while.
