exporting from avid MC to use in QT on a mac…
Wondering what the best export settings are from Avid MC on a pc to use on a mac. I can play anything I export on the pc in quicktime, but when I move it over to my mac, qt won’t recognize the movie-errors say “not a valid movie format”. I’ve tried dvntsc, QT native H.264, photojpg, but no luck so far. Maybe there are some codecs I need for QT on my mac?

Sounds like you need Avid CODECs installed on your Mac. CLICKY
