Ive got a tiff sequence in AE that has some masks, effects, etc, and I want to take the composition over to Premiere without any loss of quality. Is there a way to do this, or is the standard method to render out the comp as a tiff sequence, then import it into Premiere?

I want to add audio in Premiere, and then make the final encoding. Is there a lossless way of doing this? I know that every time footage is encoded, the quality goes down.

I guess you don’t have Dynamic Link? If not then you’ll have to render the comp. It’s only going to lose quality if you choose a format that compresses the movie. Try something like a tiff or tga sequence or a Quicktime movie using the Animation codec at 100% quality (Lossless files can be very large with no obvious difference).

I currently have premiere 6.5, which doesnt look like it has dynamic link. Im on an old machine that doesnt support the SSE that required for Premiere Pro. Looks like ill just render the comp as a tiff sequence.

    Thanks
