    In premiere pro 6.0, i having these issues all of a sudden with video files in the bin not showing their respected properties Picture, its just black. All my video files in my project, which are located in the Bin, are just black, but the file still plays once i click on it and when i put it on the time line. And when i put it on the timeline, the “TIMELINE WINDOW OPTIONS” ARE SET to “THE MEDIUM ICON SIZE” AND THE “TRACK FORMAT” IS SET TO THE “SECOND ONE WITH A PICTURE ON THE BEGINNING AND THE END OF THE FILENAME.” Well, once i do that the pictures at the beginning are black, and at the end are black (and I KNOW that file doesnt start or end with a black screen, theres active footage there with color lol). AND WHEN I CHANGE THE “TRACK FORMAT” TO THE FIRST OPTION (EVERY FRAME BEING IDENTIFIED AS A PICTURE) EVERYTHING TURNS BLACK, THERE IS NO PICTURE OF WHAT SO EVER.

    ~ And the biggest problem is when i export a frame to edit as a stillshot/picture, it comes out BLACK too.

    ~ the only Adobe action i have recently done was put photoshop cs 8.0 on here, and im trying to uninstall it, but it wont let me, and thats ticking me off.

    ~Forgive me if this is too confusing. Let me know if you need any more info.

    Well you are using version 6.0, which is 5 versions old. This is also a Premiere Pro forum, and I don’t mean to sound jerkish, but everyone here pretty much uses at least one of the pro versions or newer, so

    Adobe Premiere Release Order:
    =============================
    Premiere 6.0
    Premiere 6.5
    Premiere Pro
    Premiere Pro 1.5
    Premiere Pro 2.0
    Premiere Pro CS3

    Is there any way you can try downloading the trial of CS3, and seeing if you still have those errors? You get 30 days free trial (minus HDV editing), or you can download the 2.0 tryout if you are on a slower computer, it is still available too.
