    Hello,

I would like to be able to share some 30 second promos created in Media 100 with some other editors who use Final Cut pro. Ideally, the best way for me to do this is via a shared drive on our Intra Net. Can anyone tell me the best compression settings I should use when I export from Media 100?

    Thank you.

    Sorry, I should also mention It’s a Media100i version 8.2.3.

You could do a QuickTime export as “Uncompressed 8bit 4.2.2” (or as DVCPro50, depending on what compression the FCP guys usually use), which can be read by FCP. Or you can export as “Self Contained”, which would require the FCP users to install the Media 100 codecs

Thank You Floh. I’ll try it both ways and get some feedback from everyone.
