i am trying to export my raw fc movie, but have been experiencing a reduction in the quality of the picture. i have tried using all the options…compressor, quicktime converstion and just making it into just a quicktime movie. i read that i had to keep it at the same frame rate, which in my case was DVCPRO HD 720p24 and i followed those instructions. anyways, long story short does anyone know how to keep the picture quality as high as possible (similar to my raw footage?) thanks a lot

    G’day,

My understanding is that DV should be exported to video as MPEG-2. It is then suitable for importing it into DVD Studio Pro. The extension should be m2v. In my experience, this copies across with no loss of quality.

    Regards,
