    Hello all,

I started to edit a music video shot with a RED Camera using Final Cut Pro 7. I compressed all the rushes in Apple Pro Res for the offline editing and I am now told that I need to give the project to an After Effects guy who will do the special effects. He doesn’t have Final Cut. How do I transfer the project his way so he can work on it? Can I give him an XML file or something like this? Also, he would need the rushes to be in 4K to do the effects. Anyone knows how this could work?

    Thanks in advance.

make either tiff or SGI sequences from your FCP project. if your project is setup as 4k your image sequence will be the same frame size. we do this all the time. exports will be large.
