Exporting film with a Lossless codec speeds up title fades?
Hi there,
I’m trying to export a Lossless version of a short film I have made. I exported with an animation codec and all is fine except my credits at the end fade in/out very quickly when when viewed within Premiere Pro CS5.5, they fade in/out nice and slowly as wanted.
I also tried exporting as a PNG Quicktime but the same thing happens. When exporting using the Vimeo preset, the fades are fine. I have tried exporting through Premiere Pro itself as well as through Adobe Media Encoder. Please see video of sped up fades attached.
Anyone know why this might be happening? And whilst I’m here, can anyone suggest good, lossless export settings?
I’m also looking for the best way to get the video onto Vimeo. At the moment, if I use the vimeo pre-set and increase the BitRate to the amount allowed without exceeding 500mb (Vimeo upload limit), I get terrible banding in some scenes. Does anyone have any advice on this?
Any help to any of these questions would be greatly appreciated!
I’m using Premiere Pro CS5.5 on a 2.4GHz Intel Core i5 mac. Memory: 8GB 1067MHz DDR3.
