I am exporting files from AE as .mov and with RGB+Alpha which makes the files fine but has a large file size, I need to make these under 30MB is there anyway to make them smaller and preserve transparency or a different file format that would still have transparency and a small file sise?

Why do you need these files to be small? Typically, you only need an alpha channel when the files are being in the next stage of a post-production pipeline, and size does not tend to be a consideration then. Size should only matter for final delivery formats.

That said, try the PNG video codec in a QuickTime container. It tends to create files that are about half the size of files created with the Animation codec, and it’s still a lossless compression scheme.
