    Exporting DVD to use in FinalCut Pro

    I am in trying to figure out the right program to use to export from a dvd to use in FinalCut Pro. I have been handed about 30 dvd’s to make a highlight video. I will need to extract clips, not the whole dvd. Please help.

    MPEG Streamclip does the trick.

    You can set in/out points and export to Quicktime using the DV-NTSC codec. For a free program it’s converter does very good job.
