I’m running Premiere 6.5 and for some reason whenever I go to export my timeline, the program crashes. Are there any reasons for this or shall I just reinstall the software?

    Thankyou for your help.

I too have lost the ability to export timeline in Premiere. It has been working fine for months but has decided that it will now crash every time i try to export, with no explanation. What could have changed since a week ago when it still worked??? I am desperate for solutions, any help would be most appreciated!!! cheers 🙂

I had a similar problem re installed and nothing happened. Phoned adobe and they didnt know how to fix it. The key was changing your whole profile in windows. It worked for me. good luck

‘The key was changing your whole profile in windows.’

If you could explain this a bit more it would be most helpful if that worked for you. What exactly did you change and how??

Adobe didn’t know? They’re a lot of help!!

“The key was changing your whole profile in windows.”

Do you mean making a new user account?

Try deleting Premiere’s preference file…Hold the Shift and CTRL keys down while launching Premiere until you are asked to choose A/B or Single track editing.

    Thankyou, that was very helpful!

It’s all up and running now with no problems!

    Thanks once again.
