I am attempting to export a sequence to iDVD using QT. Sequence is 1280 x 720. Graphics look fine on timeline. When I view the dvd, the images are fine, but the graphics look terrible. Any suggestions on settings to fix this? Can it be the compressor setting, QT or iDVD?

IDVD cannot do anything with that kind of format. it is going to convert everything to standard def at MPEG2. You’re wasting your time and resources working at 1080 and then scaling down to SD lots of detail is getting thrown away.

What type of QT? Be sure to export using “Quicktime Movie” not “Quicktime Compression.” You may be adding an unnecessary compression step.
