So i have a render that is going into Final Cut Pro.

The video editor needs to be able to change certain colours in the render on-the-fly.

I understand I can use the Takes system in Cinema4d with material id pass.

    explained in this quick tip.

Do any sage members know which effect needs to be used in Final Cut in order to change the colours.

I was not sure which forum to post in so came to C4d forum.

    Thanks in advance guys.

If you have a matte pass you can use, I’d suggest asking how to do the actual color change effect in the FCP forum. In Premiere Pro, you would use your matte pass as a track matte for a duplicate of your footage that has any of a number of effects on it to achieve the color change. I’m sure the workflow would be similar in FCP.
