Create a new project in DVD Architect with Disc Format: Blu-ray Disc and Project Video Format: AVC 1280×720-60p, 16:9 and drop your footage on the menu and burn the disc.

Can I edit the video in DVD Architect or do I have to do that in Vegas Pro?

No, you can’t edit the file in DVD Architect. DVD Architect is a DVD/Blu-ray authoring program. You would have to edit the file in Vegas Pro but your question was: “…if anyone knew how to take mp4 720p/60fps video and put this on a blu-ray.” so I assumed that you already had an edited file and just wanted to put it on Blu-ray.

If you need help rendering a file from Vegas Pro to a Blu-ray format then that’s a different question.

Ok that’s exactly waht I would like to do. All in one program and keep it a one step process as far as, editing and rendering without switching programs. So how would I keep my video @ 720p/60fps when I want to render and burn in Vegas Pro?

Select Sony AVC and start with the Blu-ray 1920×1080-24p, 16 Mbps video stream template. Press the Customize Template… button and change the Video Format to High definition (1280×720) and the Frame Rate to 59.940 (Double NTSC) and save it with the name Blu-ray 1280×720-60p, 16 Mbps video stream. Then render with that template.

    It should look like this:
