I’m trying to export an object (a logo) to photoshop and can’t figure out how to import it without a background.I’ve saved it from the picture viewer as a tif, a pict and a psd. The psd only came out as a totally black scene. Am I missing something simple? The scene itself only has the object in it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

In the render settings, under save, you need to click on the alpha channel.

    Hi,

I have a very basic problem…. I just cant seem to do it! why is it so hard!

    In short:
I click the alpha channel and when I open it in photoshop I see the alpha channel in the ‘channels’ tab… how ever, how does this help me move the logo completely seperated from the plain blackbackground when in the ‘layers’ tab?

Is this a photoshop question!? 😉

    many thanks

    a

It is a photoshop question, but you can use SELECT >LOAD SELECTION and then select your alpha channel. You should then be able to cut your image. You could also check the invert box and then use the selection to delete your background…
